Job Description
The Quality Specialist I, Testing Support role supports molecular based areas at ARUP Laboratories, a national clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory. The position is responsible for facilitating quality improvement initiatives, coordinating quality assurance activities, and supporting laboratory compliance with policies and regulations.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting
- Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field
- Certification in a relevant quality management system (e.g. ISO 15189) is highly desirable
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and quality management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
