General Manager

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a General Manager to oversee and manage all operations of the dealership, including sales, financing, service, parts, accounting, and administration. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of automotive sales supervisory experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Plan and develop short and long-term goals and objectives
• Effectively facilitate and conduct Daily Production Review (DPR) meetings
• Achieve and maintain the manufacturer’s market share responsibility (MSR)
• Oversee the operational viability of all dealership departments
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with personnel
• Develop Employees
• Identify applicants to continue the employee’s career path and future management candidates
• Conform and educate employees on job expectations and company procedures
• Handle and resolve employee issues
• Ensure frequent employee evaluations and development
• Establish working hours, schedules, time off, and vacations
• Maintain accurate job descriptions and communicate expectations with employees
• Communicate and enforce dealership policies and procedures
