Manufacturing Engineer

Ascend Performance Materials is a global leader in high-performance chemicals, fibers, and plastics. The Operations Manufacturing Engineer will provide engineering support to operate the unit safely, reliably, and to optimize the process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical or Mechanical)
• 4+ years of chemical industry experience
• Process optimization background
• Experience troubleshooting in a plant environment
• Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) training and certification
• Process Design Background for capital project management
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to provide off-hours plant support
