Engineering Technician

Ascentek is seeking an Engineering Technician to support engineering, research and development activities, prototype builds, and transition-to-production efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers in an electronics prototype laboratory, assisting in the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate's Degree or technical certificate in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of hands-on electronics, testing, or technician experience in an engineering or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals
• Experience reading schematics, drawings, and following technical instructions
• Basic soldering skills and ability to earn IPC J-STD-001 certification with provided training
