As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst at Ascentek, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing reporting and analysis solutions. You will collaborate with finance, accounting, and business partners to design and implement insightful reporting and analysis tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other applicable major required
- MBA preferred
- 5+ years in Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics
- Experience with sales, operations, and financial planning
- Experience with complex financial modeling and forecasting methods
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial systems (e.g. Planful, Hyperion, BPC), and BI systems (e.g. Power BI, Cognos, Halo, Tableau)
- Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and KPI tools
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business partners and communicate models and underlying assumptions clearly to influence decision making
- Detail oriented with exceptional analytical, organizational, project management, and presentation skills
- Results-driven approach with ability to operate under a high degree of autonomy in making decisions and implementing change
- Solutions-oriented with ability to quickly assess a situation and offer alternatives with related risks and rewards
- The ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization and consistently display a high level of professionalism in all interactions
- The ability to identify challenges, actively work to find solutions and make ongoing process improvements
- Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and to manage multiple projects
