Job Description
Actuarial Pricing Analyst job description: Develop and maintain actuarial pricing models, partner with underwriting teams, and present pricing analyses to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or another relevant numerate subject
- Successful completion of at least two actuarial exams and relevant actuarial experience
- Minimum two years' experience in the (re)insurance industry; pricing experience preferred
- Experience in model development and validation
- Strong technical skills, proficiency with Excel, VBA and PowerBI
- Experience with pricing platforms or rating engines (e.g., hx Renew) is an advantage
- Coding experienceâespecially Pythonâis an asset
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple modelling and pricing projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, departments, and jurisdictions
- A proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes, innovate, and support business growth in a fast âpaced environment
