Perfusionist

Perfusionist job at Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai, India. The position involves working with consultants and surgical team to ensure highest standard of medical care for patients undergoing cardiac surgeries.

Requirements

• Operate and manage extracorporeal circulation and cardiopulmonary support systems.
• Maintain counterpulsation, circulatory support, ventricular assistance, and ECMO.
• Implement blood conservation techniques, autotransfusion, and myocardial preservation.
• Monitor anticoagulation, hematologic parameters, blood gases, and chemistry.
• Maintain hypothermia/hyperthermia induction and reversal, hemodilution, and hemofiltration.
• Administer medications, blood components, and anesthetic agents via the extracorporeal circuit.
• Ensure accurate documentation, data management, and quality control related to perfusion activities.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior and trainee perfusionists.
