Job Description
The ASPCA's Community Medicine team provides expert veterinary care to support the welfare of animals and their people. Our team of medical professionals sees over 100,000 animals every year and provides compassionate, quality preventive and basic care to patients.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent)
- Current California State veterinary license
- Fear Free Shelter certification within 60 days of hire
- Knowledge of and ability to use low-stress handling techniques
- Ability to efficiently perform physical examinations, outpatient surgical procedures and diagnose and treat cats and dogs
