Sr Principal Developer

AspenTech is looking for a talented and energetic Developer to join the Enterprise Operations Platform (EOP) organization. The role involves designing robust data pipelines, implementing governance frameworks, and ensuring reliable data delivery and automation.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain data connector and ingestion services for a variety of industrial data protocols
• Implement data contextualization for a variety of use cases and create automated workflows
• Integrate with AI-powered functionality within the platform
• Ensure platform scalability and uptime for high-volume industrial data
• Embed observability logs, metrics, lineage, and alerts for customers
• Document and version APIs and schemas for customer-facing usage
• Support the governance of data by applying access controls and compliance policies
• Define and enforce platform-level policies for shared services
• Actively participate with team members as part of a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) organization
• Mentor and guide junior developers and influence architectural decisions across the team
• Take high-level strategic requirements and work with a team to refine them into actionable user stories
• Produce reliable, performant, and fault-tolerant code to meet strategic business objectives
