Job Description
Aspida is a tech-driven insurance carrier offering secure retirement solutions and annuity products. They are seeking an Actuary to support corporate growth through projections, analysis, and collaboration with business partners. This role involves working with data to drive informed decision-making and is based at their Durham, NC headquarters.
Requirements
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries
- Minimum of 5 years of actuarial experience
- Knowledge of reserving and accounting frameworks (US Statutory, US GAAP, and Bermuda EBS)
- Strong communication skills
- Results-oriented with a focus on meeting objectives
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Experience with GGY Axis or other actuarial modeling systems
- Experience with R, Python, or a similar statistical software or programming languages
- Collaborative and team-oriented style
