Manufacturing Engineer

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Profit Center General Manager, you will spearhead product improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and develop new products. This position will sit onsite full-time in Berlin, CT.

What You Will Do

Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes, develop quality plans for products, and lead quality improvement efforts through training, communication and implementation of new processes.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Manufacturing Engineer with 3-5 year’s experience preferred. Will consider recent graduates with solid intern experience. Ability to think progressively and creatively while keeping the future of the company and its employees in mind.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering and/or Manufacturing or equivalent
• Lean manufacturing practices (Kanban, Poke-Yoke, JIT, Value Stream Mapping)
• Experience with Assembly Operations, Metal Machining processes and tool design
• Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong Communication skills (written and public speaking)
