Manufacturing Engineer

Role Overview

Join the Embedded Manufacturing team at our client site in Derby as a Manufacturing Engineer. Provide technical support to the production team, design and develop production processes, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What You Will Do

Improve manufacturing by analysing current processes and designing new ones, provide technical support during production issues, develop quality control procedures, design new tools and equipment, conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses, and monitor production data.

Requirements

• Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering within the nuclear industry
• Strong knowledge of nuclear safety regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to design new processes and tools
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma
• Strong project management skills
