Job Description
AssetWatch is seeking a Principal Engineer, Electrical Intelligence to serve as the subject matter expert and technical steward for electrical monitoring and analysis capabilities. The role requires deep practical knowledge of industrial electrical systems and strategic collaboration across hardware, software, and data teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering roles focused on industrial systems, power monitoring, or equipment diagnostics
- Expertise in rotating industrial equipment, power systems, and drives
- Hands-on experience with electrical measurement techniques, data interpretation, and signal analysis
- Understanding of power quality, harmonics, and electrical load behavior
- Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams that integrate electrical data with other sensing technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with industrial IoT or reliability monitoring systems preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
