Job Description

Assistance Home Care is seeking a Director of Human Resources who combines strategic insight with exceptional people skills — someone who doesn’t just react to problems but proactively drives solutions.
Requirements
- Serve as a servant leader to a dedicated HR team.
- Drive accountability, engagement, and company culture.
- Align HR strategy with business goals.
- Oversee compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Partner with leadership to enhance employee experience and organizational performance.
- Operate with autonomy and confidence, taking the initiative to solve problems before they surface.
- Take a genuine interest in employee experience and engagement. Use soft skills and communication to build trust across departments.
- Support recruiting strategies, evaluate complex background checks, and ensure hiring aligns with company standards and values.
- Partner with Business Manager to support payroll and billing.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, workman’s compensation claims, benefits administration (including ACA/401k), and internal HR policies.
- Provide timely, clear, and actionable HR updates to leadership and staff.
