Facility Supervisor - Recreational Sports

The Facility Supervisor is responsible for the safe and smooth operation of the facilities and programs, ensuring that ASI facilities are operationally safe, and providing on-site supervision of student staff. The supervisor has managerial responsibility and general oversight of ASI programs in the Recreation Center, Sports Complex, and Doerr Family Field.

Requirements

• Must be a currently enrolled student at Cal Poly with a minimum of 6 units.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Facility security experience preferred.
• Possesses excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Maintain First Aid, CPR and AED Certification.
• Must hold a CA Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable to ASI’s insurance underwriters.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and those with special limitations or needs.
• Experience with program participation preferred Recreation Center.
• Experience with administration, supervision, advising or public relations.
• General knowledge of program services of the Recreation Center.
• Experience in leadership or management.
• Program specific experience preferred.
• Ability to receive constructive criticism and learn from incidents to ensure continual development.
• Attend all mandatory meetings, trainings, workshops, and retreats.
