Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) is an inclusive, empowering, student-driven organization committed to providing programs, services, and facilities that enhance and develop the student learning experience. Cal Poly students are stakeholders in ASI and have access to leadership positions through Student Government and on-campus employment. All of these opportunities are designed to complement Cal Poly’s educational mission, support a balanced education, and give students ownership and pride in their college experience. ASI offers an extensive network of services to support the university's academic mission and to enrich student life beyond the classroom through job opportunities, activities, and unforgettable experiences. ASI is fully invested in student success and we are here to provide state-of-the-art, well-managed facilities, programs, and resources to help students reach their full potential. Our broad spectrum of programming and services includes on-campus events, student clubs, student employment, leadership positions through ASI Student Government, and much more all housed within our managed facilities: Julian A. McPhee University Union, Cal Poly Recreation Center, Orfalea Family and ASI Children's Center, Cal Poly Sports Complex, and Doerr Family Field. ASI continues to relish in our heritage of serving the students. We employ more than 550 Cal Poly students in a wide variety of job positions. ASI jobs are located on campus and offer flexible scheduling. ASI also employs approximately 78 full-time and part-time career employees.
