Marketing Student Assistant (Student Government)

The Marketing Student Assistant will assist the Assistant Coordinator—Marketing in researching, implementing, and developing guidelines and procedures for marketing and communications of the ASI Student Government brand and events. This highly motivated and creative position will develop, produce, and distribute promotional materials and marketing collateral, gather and draft content, administer ASI’s social media marketing strategy, and represent the ASI brand across social media platforms and at outreach events.

Requirements

• Must be a currently enrolled student at Cal Poly with a minimum of 6 units.
• Marketing, journalism, or public relations major preferred.
• Highly organized and great time management and planning skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Photography skills preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in social and digital media.
• Experience with marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, or customer service.
• Experience with administration, supervision, leadership, or management.
• Experience with ASI program participation preferred.
• General knowledge of program services.
• Self-starter.
• Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities.
