Job Description
Lifeguard I will be responsible for speaking, demonstrating, and providing feedback to children and adults, observing safety standards for pool both in water and on deck, and completing daily records and chemical checks.
Requirements
- Must be a currently enrolled California State University Fullerton student in good academic standing
- Aquatics, swim team, or water polo experience is preferred
- Must be able to swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl, backstroke, and breast stroke
- Must be able to swim 20 yards, retrieve a 10-pound object, and remove it from the pool within 1 minute & 30 seconds
- Must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification or be able to obtain certification before start of employment
