The Association for Individual Development (AID) is a non-profit organization looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services to clients with physical, developmental, intellectual, and mental health challenges. The LPN will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse Trainer and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to address client advanced medical needs.

Requirements

• Medication administration
• Enteral feeding and care
• Tracheostomy suctioning and care
• Indwelling catheter management and care
• Injections and other treatments
• Monitoring and training for clients
• Entering required documentation
• Monitoring client medical conditions
• Familiarity with agency and program rules and regulations
• Attending to client self-care needs
• Participating in Person-Centered Planning
• Maintaining client confidentiality
• Assuring safe conditions inside and outside the home
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
