Senior EC&I Engineer

We are seeking a highly capable Senior EC&I Engineer to support and lead engineering activities across a diverse portfolio of Defence work packages. The role spans the full engineering lifecycle, from early requirements and concept development through to detailed design, technical governance and assurance. As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you will work independently with minimal supervision, lead small discipline teams, support and mentor engineers, and take responsibility for producing high-quality engineering outputs.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Control Engineering, or HNC/HND with substantial relevant experience
• Membership of a relevant institution (IET, IMC) and working towards Chartered status
• Strong experience delivering EC&I engineering in detailed design environments
• Proven ability to independently develop EC&I technical solutions meeting client and regulatory requirements
• Experience supervising others, providing technical oversight and leading small engineering teams
• Ability to check and review engineering work produced by others
• Strong communication skills, engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Commitment to professional development and supporting others to grow their skills
