Lead, Legal Employment and Litigation for Japan

The Lead, Legal Employment and Litigation for Japan is responsible for heading up the Employment law function for API and corporate entities in Japan, providing strategic and high-quality legal advice and counsel to clients, and managing employment risks and litigations in Japan.

Requirements

• At least 10 years' experience working in a law firm or pharmaceutical legal department, with deep experience in employment law advice, counsel, and litigation.
• Sophisticated understanding of the Japanese employment laws and litigation processes/procedures.
• Strong experience and knowledge of best practices relating to employment matters in Japan.
• Strong ability to grasp legal issues quickly, exhibit strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills, exercise sound judgment, and provide practical and constructive legal advice in a time-sensitive, dynamic, and fast-paced complex global environment.
