Job Description
The Astor Learning Center is seeking a Behavior Analyst to collaborate with educators in schools to assess, develop, and implement behavioral interventions for students with disabilities. The role involves coordinating support and providing suggestions for staff implementation of behavior plans, working with teachers, and collaborating with school support staff and families. They are a therapeutic school serving children facing educational, emotional, and behavioral challenges, aiming to foster success in school.
Requirements
- Familiarity with social-emotional learning, tiered behavioral programming, and intervention services.
- Knowledge of current research, trends, and best practices related to behavior intervention.
- Ability to conduct FBAs and create/implement BIPs across the educational setting.
- Experience with the population served (preferred).
- Certification as a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA), a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), or a Certified School Psychologist.
- 1 year of Behavior Analyst experience.
