Job Description
Astranis is a leading satellite communications company expanding humanity's reach into space, servicing large enterprises, sovereign governments, and the US military. They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and implement software for satellite and ground network management. This role will contribute to commercial and government programs, focusing on software development, automation, and UI creation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience as a full stack developer in industry.
- Experience with system level architecture and big data design.
- Strong Proficiency with React JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
- Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
- Experience with relational/SQL databases (e.g. Postgres).
- Experience designing and maintaining REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Comfortable rapidly prototyping and fully developing user interface concepts.
- Comfortable diving into all layers to implement both front-end and back-end components.
- Experience deploying backend services to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Comfortable working in Linux, using shell tools, and managing source control with Git.
- Highly motivated, self-starting, and able to perform duties autonomously without supervision.
