Job Description
Astranis is a satellite communications company servicing customers with stringent uptime, data security, and network visibility requirements. They are seeking a Senior Radiation Effects Engineer to characterize radiation environments for missions and test analysis for spacecraft, ensuring spacecraft integrity and security. The company focuses on orbiting satellites providing dedicated, secure networks globally.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent
- Passion for hardware development and hands-on design
- Experience with the Geostationary radiation environment (TID, SEE, DDD)
- Experience designing for and testing for radiation effects
- Experience in testing analog and digital circuits
- Experience with high reliability systems
- US Citizenship or Green Card
