Director of FP&A

Astronomer is seeking a Director of FP&A to join its talented finance team and become a key architect of its financial future. The role will involve managing and overseeing the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes, providing financial and management reports to stakeholders, and conducting financial analysis to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis
• Deep understanding of B2B SaaS businesses, metrics, and customer lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
• Proficiency in using financial software such as FP&A tools and ERP systems such as Workday, Anaplan, Adaptive and Pigment
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance professionals
