Job Description
Astronomer is looking for a Strategic Account Executive to join their growing sales team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of sales experience in SaaS, data platforms, or cloud solutions, and 5+ years of field experience with in-person customer engagement. They will lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, partnering closely with clients and teammates across strategic accounts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of sales experience, ideally in SaaS, data platforms, or cloud solutions
- 5+ years of field experience with in-person customer engagement
- A history of consistent success in meeting or exceeding new business quotas in high-growth environments
- Comfort with data orchestration, analytics, or related technologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders
- A proactive mindset with perseverance and accountability
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms
