Thermo-Mechanical Architect

We are looking for a Thermo-Mechanical Architect on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Rome, Italy. As the Lead Thermal Mechanical Architect, you will have the unique opportunity to drive technical excellence, mentor multidisciplinary teams, and deliver solutions that will define the next generation of space systems.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related STEM discipline
• Additional certifications in systems engineering, project management, or quality assurance (e.g., PMP, AS9100, ECSS) are an asset
• At least 8 years of experience in thermal and mechanical engineering for space systems
• Proven ability to lead technical activities and work across disciplines
• Ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations, reports, and documentation to international standards
• Hands-on experience with thermal and/or mechanical design, analysis and AIT
• Solid knowledge of space standards and quality processes
• Clear communicator, comfortable engaging with clients and senior stakeholders
• Willingness to work on-site at client’s facilities in Italy, with occasional travel to other ATG Europe or client locations as required
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU and obtain any necessary security clearances
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Italian is an asset
