School Nurse

The Athenian School seeks a compassionate, skilled, and highly organized School Nurse to support the health and well-being of students in grades 6–12. The School Nurse oversees all aspects of Health Services, providing routine care, triage, medication administration, and follow-up planning. The role includes communication with parents, healthcare providers, administrators, and faculty to ensure coordinated and informed care.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California (required)
• Experience in adolescent health, school nursing, pediatric, or community health settings preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, the ability to triage effectively in a dynamic school environment, and comfort responding to emergency medical situations
