Job Description
Atkore is seeking a Machinist to join our team in Crete, IL. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to produce parts that meet time, safety, and quality standards. You will develop operational sequences and perform programming for complex components on CNC machine tools.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3ā5 years of experience in machining or Tool & Die work preferred
- Experience using CAD and CNC software preferred
- Strong basic math and communication skills
- Excellent technical ability, including mechanical troubleshooting and problemāsolving
- Willingness and ability to learn and maintain equipment and machinery
