Technical Sales Manager - Southwest

Atkore is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to be based out of the Southwestern region of the U.S. The ideal candidate will reside in the AZ, NV, NM, or Southern CA area and have a bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven electrical industry or related experience. The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for generating specifications and preferences with a focus on end-users, Specifiers, and Electrical Contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Minimum 5-10 years of proven electrical industry or related experience
• Willing and able to work remotely and travel at least 80% of the time
• Reside in the general area of AZ, NV, NM, or Southern CA
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and analytical skills
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the use of Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working with electrical contractors and working knowledge of the NEC
• Strong electrical and / or mechanical technical background
• Experience within a sales-orientated environment– electrical or specification sales
• Proven record of accomplishment of succeeding against set targets
