The Commercial Support Manager will manage a team of Relationship Specialists, responsible for commercial banking support activities, hiring practices, training, coaching, and compliance with federal and state regulations. The Manager will also assist in correcting and improving compliance through remediation efforts and process evolution.
Requirements
- Hires, onboards, manages, trains, coaches, mentors, and develops new and existing Wholesale Relationship Specialists
- Coordinates and prioritizes the Relationship Specialists' pipeline assignments
- Manages and responds to daily incoming client requests, inquiries, and escalated issues
- Works proactively to identify potential problems and/or compliance concerns
- Extracts, formats, organizes, and distributes departmental reports
- Executes and adheres to all federal and state regulations governing bank operations
- Serves as final reviewer and approver of customized/complex loan packages
- Confirms Relationship Specialists complete detailed due diligence
- Maintains superior working knowledge of the Bank's Treasury Management products and services
- Maintains exceptional working knowledge of specialized loans
- Prevents, manages, and facilitates clearing of exceptions associated with loan and deposit accounts
- Maintains data integrity for the CRM and other critical bank systems
- Retains advanced working knowledge of deposit account products and services
- Acts as a subject matter expert for all responsibilities performed by Relationship Specialists
- Completes all individually assigned training and confirms direct reports complete assigned training
