The Maintenance Planner is responsible for leading efforts to improve efficiency, quality, and safety of the Mechanical equipment and processes via design and/or changes to process equipment and systems.
Requirements
- Create, update, maintain and standardize SOP’s and SWP’s
- Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating all aspects of projects
- Manage spare parts and alignment between the maintenance department and stock room
- Manage work orders, documentation, and assets within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Train employees on how to use the CMMS
- Coordinate plant-wide shutdowns
- Lead and contribute to new and ongoing Maintenance and Plant projects
- Support troubleshooting of process equipment issues
- Support operations in development of equipment purchase/project plans for future replacement/upgrades or process capacity increases.
- Participating in meetings and resolving client/engineering and management project issues.
- Ensure effective engineering and client communications
- Participating in hazard analyses
- Developing Inspection and Test Plans for new equipment or modifications to existing
- Strong advocate for behavioral and process safety principles
- Study, analyze, and seek solutions to production issues related to design, operation, performance, modification, or repair of components
- Capable of interpreting various OEM technical manuals
