Cancer Registrar| FT| DAY

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Cancer Registrar to manage the Tumor Registry System and coordinate tumor conference activities. This role involves maintaining patient records, statistical data, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and guidelines. The ideal candidate has strong medical terminology knowledge and experience in a clinical setting. The position requires certification by the National Cancer Registrars Association, preferable.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two years of college or accredited record technician experience (3-5 years preferred).
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, behavior of tumors, staging, and coding systems.
• Certification by the National Cancer Registrars Association (preferred and required within 3 years).
• Two years experience in a CoC-accredited oncology registry/cancer program preferred.
