Job Description
This position is for a Laboratory Technical Operations Supervisor within the Technical Area of the Hospitals and Clinics within the Advocate Health enterprise. The role involves overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring quality and service-oriented performance, and optimizing resources to achieve organizational goals. This involves collaboration with site leadership and driving optimization within a cost effective and quality oriented manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology or equivalent
- Certification / Registration / License
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification or Medical Technologist (MT) certification
- 3+ years of experience in technical laboratory services and operations
- Participation in the AAP BOC (American Society for Clinical Pathology BOC) or ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) exams
