Mechanical Designer

Requirements

• A post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of mechanical design experience
• Proficient in Solid Works and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of drafting principles
• Experience in designing tooling from sketches or verbal concepts
• Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical devices
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Analytical skills for engineering calculations and design analysis
• Attention to detail for reviewing drawings and documentation
• Familiarity with ISO procedures and quality standards
