Employment Consultant (King County)

AtWork! is a nonprofit disability services provider empowering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through Employment Services, Community Inclusion, and Transition Services. We are seeking a full-time Employment Consultant to join our Disability Services team. Employment Consultants work directly with the people we serve and businesses in the community providing ongoing assessments, developing and coordinating opportunities with businesses in the local community, and collaborating with a community network to train effective communication techniques and accommodations. Successful Employment Consultants are self-motivated, enjoy an ever-changing environment, and communicate effectively with their teams and community partners.

Requirements

• High level of professionalism in appearance, actions, and words
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with general basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Reliable attendance
• Valid Washington State Driver License
• Ability to pass a five (5) year Driving Record Check
• Reliable vehicle to travel throughout King County
• Ability to pass a DSHS Background Check
