Job Description
Aurora is seeking a Staff Global Supply Manager to be the strategic owner of their supply chain for optical hardware and the Contract Manufacturer (CM) who builds their systems. The role involves managing the entire supply chain from prototype to production, negotiating with suppliers and CMs, and ensuring a reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective supply. The manager will collaborate with various teams, track market conditions, and identify supply challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
- Deep understanding of optical systems and manufacturing
- Strong analytical and cost modeling skills
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
