Test & Activation Specialist III

Test & Activation Specialist III performs complex test technician duties in support of Test Engineers, performing operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment, and conducts complex product testing. Requires four years of Test and Activation experience in a shipyard environment, proficient working knowledge of shipboard engineering plant terminology and operations, and strong knowledge of diesel engines and gas turbines.

Requirements

• Four years of Test and Activation experience in a shipyard environment
• Proficient working knowledge of shipboard engineering plant terminology and operations
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and gas turbines
• Ability to work at heights above 12’ while working from ladders, scaffolding and/or man lifts
• Ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures
• Ability to enter 18” x 36” openings and work in confined spaces for prolonged periods of time
