Principal, Policy

Avalere Health is seeking a Principal with a focus on Medicare, Medicaid and drug pricing policy to join their policy practice. The ideal candidate will have significant experience analyzing policy proposals, legislation, and/or regulation, and conveying findings to clients and the public. They will also have expertise in Medicare and Medicaid policy, including Medicare Part D, the Inflation Reduction Act, and other key drug pricing reform policies.

Requirements

• Significant experience analyzing policy proposals, legislation, and/or regulation
• Expertise in Medicare and Medicaid policy, including Medicare Part D, the Inflation Reduction Act, and other key drug pricing reform policies
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in the healthcare industry or a professional services firm
• Prior experience in project management and team supervision
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Word
