Quality Control Inspector - 2nd Shift

Avalign is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to conduct visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications, work orders, and quality standards. The role requires collaboration with peers and adherence to quality procedures to maintain high product standards and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints with foundational knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and inspection methodologies.
• Demonstrated mathematical aptitude, including managing units of measure, fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
• A minimum of five years of experience in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements like 21 CFR 820.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is preferred but not required; must show a willingness to learn CMM operations.
