Job Description
Avanti Engineering is seeking a CNC Lead for its CNC Swiss machines. The role involves hands-on support for operators, basic programming, setup, troubleshooting, and assisting the CNC Supervisor with daily operations. Responsibilities include quality standards adherence, training, and safety maintenance.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of metal manufacturing industry
- At least 5 years hands-on experience in manufacturing, as lead person, or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic programming (write a program) and CNC Swiss machines
- Problem solving/troubleshooting
- Attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of inspection standards
- Good communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Microsoft office software skills
- Available to work overtime
