Founding Robotics Hardware Architect

Join our robotics startup to architect hardware that redefines manufacturing. As the Founding Robotics Hardware Architect, you will define system-level decisions, own the system architecture and physical integrity of dexterous robotic hardware, and work closely with the Founding Robotics Hardware Engineer to design, build, and iterate hardware that is robust, evolvable, and fit for real manufacturing use.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in hardware development, taking hardware from concept to robust, repeated-use prototypes
• Strong background in robotics, mechatronics, industrial tools, and instrumentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with ambiguity and uncertainty

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of US$80,000–160,000 per annum
• 0.75%–1.75% equity with 4-year vesting and 1-year cliff
