Job Description
AWI Engineering is seeking an Electrical Controls Designer to provide technical support for small to mid-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, prior experience with PLC programming, and proficiency in AutoCAD and AC, DC, and Servo Drives.
Requirements
- Developing electrical control panel drawings and generating bills of material
- Supporting the build and installation of custom control systems/panels
- Modifying electrical designs and layout
- Assisting with validation design, execution, and report writing
- Conducting root cause analysis and providing troubleshooting support for machinery
- Providing engineering assistance to improve plant safety
- Researching new technology and providing recommendations
- Occasional project management within cost and time constrained environments
