Traffic Control Flagger

AWP Safety is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to join their team. The successful candidate will perform manual labor in highway construction projects, conduct preventative maintenance, and maintain a clean job site. The position requires a valid driver’s license, knowledge of proper use of equipment, and ability to lift +50lbs. The company offers a starting rate of $18.90, opportunity to advance in pay, and eligibility for 401(k) after 90 days.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• 18 years of age and older
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy / highway construction work
• Knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions
• Ability to read and comprehend work orders and plans
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry +50lbs
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Clean insurable abstract
• Ability to acquire and maintain DOT physical
• Able to pass Drug testing
• Able to pass Federal Background Check
• Basic literacy: Ability to read, write and record routine data and information
