AWP Safety is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Traffic Control Technician. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and removing traffic control devices, controlling road users, and driving company vehicles. No college degree is required, and training is provided.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid drivers license
- Safety sensitive position
- Traffic Control Technician (TCT) Certification or 2000+ verifiable hours required
- High School Diploma or GED completion required
- Prior experience preferred in temporary traffic control services, utility industry, or construction industry
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management systems
- Must be able to follow safe workplace practices
- Valid Driver’s License void of suspension or revocation
