Counseling Intern (PAID INTERNSHIP)

This Counseling Intern position is part of the Family & Community Services, Inc. program, focused on providing in-home and community services to a variety of clients with mental health conditions. The role involves conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and maintaining client records, working under the supervision of a licensed professional. It's a 15-hour-a-week, hourly rate position, offering a 2-year training period.

Requirements

• Must currently hold a CT (Counseling in Training) certification
• Knowledge of diagnostic standards
• Knowledge of medical office practices
• Ability to develop and implement treatment plans
• Skills in crisis intervention and emergency services
• De-escalation skills
• Ability to establish and maintain clinically effective relationships with clients
• Ability to meet agency requirements for criminal background check and motor vehicle insurance
• Valid Ohio driver’s license
• Must possess a valid Ohio Counselor's Licensure
