Counseling Intern (PAID INTERNSHIP - Portage County)

Counseling Intern is a paid program providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to a variety of clients. The intern will conduct psychiatric assessments, develop and implement Individual Service Plans, provide psychotherapy and case management, and maintain client records. The role focuses on providing direct client care and a minimum of 50% productivity.

Requirements

• Must currently hold a CT (Counseling in Training) certification
• Current knowledge of medical office practices and procedures
• Ability to develop and implement treatment plans
• Skills in crisis intervention and emergency services
• De-escalation skills
• Ability to establish and maintain clinically effective relationships with clients
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and maintaining insurance
• Adherence to agency policies and procedures
