Psychiatric Prescriber: Psychiatrist/CNP/CNS

This is a part-time Psychiatric Prescriber position with the agency, requiring a graduate of an accredited medical institution with post-graduate training in Psychiatry. The role involves screening, diagnosing, treating, and managing mental health care for identified clients, coordinating care with other providers, and providing consultations and teaching. The position offers a limited set of hours per week.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Institution and in addition have post-graduate training in Psychiatry.
• Must have the ability to maintain the required license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio.
• Knowledge and techniques for facilitating personality/behavior change.
• Capacity for collecting, organizing, and reporting data in order to reach valid clinical conclusions.
• Skills in Crisis Intervention and Emergency Services.
• Ability to meet agency requirements for criminal background check.
• Must be able to meet agency requirements for insurability.
