The FSQA Analyst ensures that food safety, quality, and regulatory standards are upheld throughout the production process.
Requirements
- Monitor critical control points and production processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Conduct raw material and finished good sample testing (e.g., pH, Brix, CO2, titration, density) throughout production and document in production and QC records.
- Conduct additional laboratory analysis as needed including: microbiological, physical, and chemical testing required by each facility.
- Provide assistance in the onsite QC Laboratories, as needed, to support calibration, instrumentation qualification, and other duties such as inventory management.
- Assist in resolving quality and food safety issues, participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts in the production area and laboratory.
- Participate in SQF internal food safety audits and food safety GMP inspections.
- Maintain and verify FSQ documentation compliance.
- Participate in internal audits, mock recalls, and facility inspections.
- Calibrate equipment and support ERP system updates.
- Support document control and retention sample library.
- May be assigned backup duties for critical programs as needed or other tasks such as environmental swabbing and sanitation clearance protocols.
