Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Tax Preparer to work in our Poughkeepsie, NY tax office for preparation of individual and business income tax returns for the 2025 tax season.
Requirements
- Conduct client interviews to understand their financial circumstances and gather necessary documentation.
- Review client-provided financial data for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare individual and business income tax returns using Ultra Tax software
- Respond to client inquiries and research tax-related issues as needed.
- Identify opportunities to assist clients by leveraging the full suite of services offered by the firm.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
